國防部：中國駐黎巴嫩維和部隊目前安全 將提高自身安全防衛(wèi)能力
The MND: The Chinese Peacekeeping Units in Lebanon are Safe and Measures will be Taken to Strengthen Their Security Protection
10月15日下午，國防部新聞局局長、國防部新聞發(fā)言人吳謙大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。
記者：據(jù)報道，以色列國防軍近日襲擊了聯(lián)合國駐黎巴嫩臨時部隊。請問中方對此有何評論？中國維和官兵目前是否安全？
Question: The Israel Defense Force recently attacked the United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL). What’s your comment on this? Are Chinese peacekeepers safe?
吳謙：中方對以軍襲擊聯(lián)黎部隊表示嚴(yán)重關(guān)切和強(qiáng)烈譴責(zé)。聯(lián)黎部隊根據(jù)聯(lián)合國安理會決議的授權(quán)執(zhí)行維和任務(wù)，中方堅決反對任何攻擊聯(lián)合國維和人員的行為，要求對事件進(jìn)行調(diào)查，對有關(guān)人員進(jìn)行問責(zé)，并采取切實(shí)措施，杜絕類似事件再次發(fā)生，沖突各方必須切實(shí)保障聯(lián)黎部隊人員和資產(chǎn)安全。
Wu Qian: China is seriously concerned and strongly condemns the Israeli military’s attack on the UNIFIL. China firmly opposes any attack on UN peacekeepers. We require a thorough investigation on the incident and hold those responsible accountable. We urge relevant parties to take real actions to prevent such an incident from happening again. The parties involved in the conflict must ensure the safety of the personnel and assets of the UNIFIL.
中國駐黎巴嫩維和部隊目前安全。中方密切關(guān)注當(dāng)?shù)匕踩蝿?，將采取措施進(jìn)一步提高自身安全防衛(wèi)能力。
The Chinese peacekeeping units in Lebanon are safe now. China is closely monitoring the security situation in Lebanon, and will take additional measures to strengthen security protection of our troops.
