國防部：期待各國朋友持續(xù)參與和關(guān)注北京香山論壇
The MND: The Beijing Xiangshan Forum Looks Forward to Continued Participation by Friends from Around the World
9月14日下午，國防部新聞局局長、國防部新聞發(fā)言人吳謙大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。
吳謙：9月12日至14日，第十一屆北京香山論壇在京舉行。國家主席習(xí)近平向論壇致賀信，希望本屆論壇繼續(xù)秉持平等、開放、包容、互鑒精神，凝聚共識、深化互信，為共同應(yīng)對全球性安全挑戰(zhàn)、推動構(gòu)建人類命運共同體作出新的更大貢獻(xiàn)。
Wu Qian: The 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum was held in Beijing from September 12th to 14th. President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the forum. In the letter, he encouraged all participants of the forum to build stronger consensus and deepen mutual trust in the spirit of equality, openness, inclusiveness, and mutual learning, so as to make greater contributions to collectively addressing global security challenges and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
會議期間，來自100余個國家、國際組織官方代表團(tuán)，34位部長級和軍隊總長級代表，以及專家學(xué)者代表等1800余名嘉賓，圍繞“共筑和平、共享未來”主題，在4場全體會議、8場平行分組會議上，集思廣益、深入交流、平等對話，就共護(hù)和平安寧達(dá)成廣泛共識，進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)了南南合作、促進(jìn)了南北合作。論壇還安排了訪談對話、科技創(chuàng)新展參訪等活動。
More than 1800 participants from 100-plus countries and international organizations attended the forum, including 34 representatives of ministers or military chiefs, as well as experts and scholars. Under the theme of Promoting Peace for a Shared Future, they pooled wisdom and conducted in-depth exchanges and equal dialogues in 4 plenary sessions and 8 simultaneous special sessions, reaching broad consensus on jointly safeguarding peace and tranquility. The forum further strengthened South-South cooperation and facilitated North-South cooperation. Other activities were also arranged during the forum, such as interviews, dialogues and visits to an exhibition on science and technology innovation.
